The Chicago Bears and the Seattle Seahawks each dropped their 2018 season openers, but they both had chances to win during the game. The Bears played dominating football early against the Packers, then lost the lead, but still had the ball late with a chance to win, and the Seahawks went back and forth against the Broncos before their last drive sputtered.
The winner of Monday night’s game will climb even at 1-1, while the loser limps to 0-2 and has their postseason odds plummet. In the last nine years, teams that started 0-2 only made the playoffs 5.6% of the time (6-of-108).
