Atlanta Hawks 2017-18 Season Review: Damion Lee

Damion Lee is one of the more interesting and probably one of the more underrated players that the Atlanta Hawks had on their roster during the 2017-18 season.

Lee got his first professional action this year, playing in just 14 games (although a starter for 10) with the Atlanta Hawks.

He started out his basketball career at Drexel and later transferred for his final year of eligibility to Louisville. In an unlucky bit of fate, Louisville was put on a postseason ban so we were unable to see how he would’ve performed with all the lights shining on him during the NCAA Tournament.

After going undrafted, Lee went through the grind of the G-League with the Maine Red Claws and Santa Cruz Warriors before being called up to Atlanta.
