With one of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ most important offseasons ever coming up next month, the team’s front office will be forced to make some of the toughest decisions they’ve had in quite some time. One of those tough decisions will likely include parting ways with veteran cornerback Aaron Colvin, who will reportedly have a big market.

As much as the Jags and their fans would like to keep Colvin, the reality is he’s playing at a position where there are two Pro Bowl/All-Pro players on the depth chart ahead of him in Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye. Even if you put the money aside, the competitor in him alone will likely drive him to find a new home where he can start. Additionally, the Jags have to plan for the future financially as Ramsey will someday be the league’s highest-paid cornerback.
As for the teams that could be interested, the San Francisco 49ers, Detroit Lions, Oakland Raiders and Los Angeles Rams are some of the teams who could be on the market for a cornerback. Ultimately, time will tell as to the exact figures he could be in store...
