7 2019 NFL Draft prospects to watch in college football's big opening weekend

The 2019 NFL Draft is probably far off in the recesses of most New Orleans Saints fans’ minds, and I get that. But college football is an incredibly fun sport to discuss, as is the draft process. I’ve tried to highlight players at positions of need for the Saints in next spring’s draft process, but really this best functions as a watch list of jerseys to pick out when switching between different games. Big, big props to the crew over at the Draft Network for compiling so many strong preseason scouting reports; I’ve linked to them in each entry, and you should be checking out their work.

Player to watch: Northwestern linebacker #42, Paddy Fisher.
