The Indianapolis Colts officially named Josh McDaniels as their head coach on Tuesday and he will get to work on getting the team back to playoff contention in the division.
The Colts have plenty of issues to take head-on during the offseason and they will use free agency and the 2018 NFL Draft to help further their solutions but there are other issues McDaniels faces outside of getting new players.
Here are five questions and issues McDaniels faces in taking on the head coaching job for the Colts:
This is the utmost important issue McDaniels and the Colts face this offseason. Can they get their star quarterback in Luck to finally return to the field.
Luck is reportedly working his way back and will begin a throwing program but there is a chance that takes up to three months, leading the Colts into the draft with his status unknown.
