The Cardinals are gearing up for their preseason opener against the Los Angeles Chargers. The four games prior to the regular season will help the Cardinals identify any holes in the roster. As of today, here are some roster additions the Cardinals may take a look at.

While the Cardinals made an offseason trade to acquire Jamar Taylor, they might still take a look at  Breeland. Breeland was a solid No. 2 corner for the Washington Redskins. The Carolina Panthers signed him to a three-year deal back in March, but a failed physical canceled the offer. Breeland spent the majority of the offseason healing his foot, which seems to be 100 percent now. It’s rare that a player of Breeland’s caliber falls in free agency this far. The Cardinals hosted Bashaud for a visit back in May, so it’s safe to assume the team does have some interest in the cornerback.
