5 free agent linebackers that would bolster the Eagles defense

Free agency is right around the corner as the new league year will open on March 14. The Eagles may have a void at linebacker if pending free agent linebacker Nigel Bradham signs with a different team.

Bradham proved that he was a valuable piece of the Eagles defense, especially once Jordan Hicks went down. Now that Hicks is expected to return from a torn Achilles, he will resume his playcalling duties in the defensive huddle.

Even though Hicks and Mychal Kendricks are under contract, Philadelphia will still need to look at bringing in another linebacker. They will have little cap space to sign a bigger name. Otherwise, they would just bring back Bradham.

Here are five linebackers that would fit well with the Eagles in free agency:

A third-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, Brown’s rookie season came with Jim Schwartz as his defensive coordinator. He started 14 games that season, recording 109 tackles and an interception.
