The Indianapolis Colts will be in the market during free agency searching for new players to add to the roster in order to fill some needs ahead of the 2018 NFL Draft but they also have some talent that is leaving.

Some players have been told they won’t return while others are in wait-and-see mode. Regardless, five of the Colts’ impending free agents made it on to ESPN’s top 100 list by Kevin Seifert.

34. Rashaan Melvin, cornerback

Seifert: “Melvin broke through in 2017 with three interceptions and 13 passes defensed in 10 starts. Teams crave frames like his (6-foot-2) at the position, and some team — possibly the Colts — will step out for him.”

Melvin enjoyed a breakout year for the Colts and they would be wise to re-sign him but they shouldn’t overpay. General manager Chris Ballard said they will wait to see how the market determines his price.

45. Jack Mewhort, guard
