When the Buffalo Bills started the 2018 NFL season, not many believed the team would have any tangible success in their 2018 campaign nor did they think they would be an exciting team to watch.
To their surprise, the team, led by a feisty rookie in Josh Allen down the stretch, had flashes of must-see TV last season. Allen was making plays on the field that many had only seen in video games.
Despite this, the team wasn’t in the spotlight much at all in 2018. When they were, it usually wasn’t for the right reason.
For the Bills, 2019 is their year to inch even closer to the vision General Manager Brandon Beane and Sean McDermott laid out upon arriving in western New York. It’s a chance for the team to prove they’re on schedule in their “process” and they’re worth watching.
The schedule makers, on the other hand, might not feel the same. We’ll find out for certain on Wednesday at 8 p.m., as the Bills and NFL will release their full 2019 season slate then.
