The New York Giants fell to 1-5 on the season after a disheartening 34-13 loss to the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night.
Here are four quick takeaways from the Giants’ latest loss.
“We didn’t score enough points, we didn’t keep them off the board, we didn’t do anything well enough to win, so go back to the drawing board,” said head coach Pat Shurmur, who is beginning to sound like a broken record. “We go to work tomorrow, try to clean it up, then get ready for our next one. That’s the reality of it, and we’ve got to own it and move on.”
