The Indianapolis Colts haven’t announced it yet but there have been multiple reports that Los Angeles Chargers wide receivers coach Nick Sirianni is to be hired as the new offensive coordinator.
Shortly after their second round of interviews for head coach, the Colts hired Frank Reich on Sunday. They didn’t waste any time in finding their offensive coordinator as it was reported Sirianni would be hired Monday.
Here are three things to know about the Colts new offensive coordinator:
Experience is a key when becoming an offensive coordinator and Sirianni has plenty of that in various positions on coaching staffs. He started out as the offensive quality control coach with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2009.
He then was the assistant quarterbacks coach for the Chiefs (2010), the offensive quality control coach again (2011) and the wide receivers coach (2012).

Sirianni then left to join the Chargers staff as the offensive quality control coach (2013), then became the quarterbacks coach (2014-15) and then the wide receivers coach since...
