The New England Patriots had a few extra days to prepare to play the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night. Both the Patriots and Chiefs are riding high on momentum right now and Sunday’s game should be an exciting one.

At age 41, Tom Brady is still doing Tom Brady things. He holds a couple more NFL records since last week and has thrown for 1,259 yards and 12 touchdowns.

This week, Brady told Mike Reiss at ESPN, that Mahomes “[is] very talented. He’s got what seems to be a lot of great tools to work with.”

In his second season out of Texas Tech, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been making a name for himself across the league. His first interception came in Week 5 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, he is averaging over 300 yards passing per game and nearly three touchdowns per game. He has thrown for 1,513 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Mahomes said Brady is “…someone that’s had a ton of success in this league and is someone that you do take stuff from,” via Stephen Hewitt of the Boston Herald.
