Alabama’s Jonah Williams is widely considered the top offensive tackle prospect in the 2019 NFL Draft. Should the San Francisco 49ers consider drafting him?

It was a puzzling pick at the time. But we soon found out that now ex-49ers offensive tackle Trent Brown had shown up to camp out of shape and that the organization was quickly losing faith in him. McGlinchey replaced him admirably, proving his worth as an early first-round pick.
With longtime franchise left tackle Joe Staley sitting at 34 years old, could the 49ers go the same route this year?
Offensive tackles are at a premium in this league, which is why Alabama’s Jonah Williams is such a highly coveted prospect in this year’s draft. He’s projected to go in the top 10 on draft day, and possibly even top five, which would make the 49ers possible suitors for Williams if they trade down to a quarterback-needy team.
