Vikings knew Randy Moss was a Hall of Famer after just one practice

It only took one practice at training camp for the wide receiver’s teammates on the Minnesota Vikings to realize how special of a player he was going to be.

Randy Moss never won a Super Bowl during his NFL career. He played in two, one with the New England Patriots and another with the San Francisco 49ers, but each time Moss was unable to come out of the big game hoisting the Vince Lombardi trophy.

Despite not winning a Super Bowl, the wide receiver still accomplished a ton during his NFL career. Which is why he was among those selected to be enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame later this year.

Moss first stepped onto an NFL field in 1998 and his impact was felt immediately, especially by his teammates who saw him everyday in practice. Former Minnesota Vikings running back Robert Smith recently spoke to Bleacher Report’s Don Banks and recalled a conversation he had with his agent about the young receiver following the team’s very first day at training camp in 1998.
