It’s the second day of the offseason and already Las Vegas is gearing up for the 2019 Super Bowl. Per Bovada, the Seattle Seahawks are opening up the offseason with 25/1 odds to win Super Bowl LIII.
The Patriots, even with an aging Tom Brady and coming off a loss, start the offseason as the favorites. The Patriots open with 6/1 odds, followed by the Eagles (8/1), Packers (9/1), Steelers (14/1) and Vikings (14/1).
The Seahawks are tied with Carolina, Houston, Jacksonville and Oakland at 25/1 odds. They are ahead of 2017 playoff teams Kansas City (28/1) and the Chargers (33/1).
Seattle finished 9-7 last season, missing the playoffs for the first time since 2011. A massive overhaul of the coaching staff has already occurred, and the offseason could bring a large number of roster changes as well.
Tight end Jimmy Graham, defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson and wide receiver Paul Richardson are among the many free agents the Seahawks will have to carefully consider re-signing.
