Scot McCloughan pushing John Dorsey to draft Baker Mayfield
/ Browns

By Kyle Kelly

Former 49ers and Redskins general manager Scot McCloughan has been added to Browns’ general manager John Dorsey’s “dream team” front office to go along with Alonzo Highsmith and Eliot Wolf.

McCloughan has been very vocal that Baker Mayfield is his first choice at quarterback in the 2018 NFL Draft.

According to Rotoworld’s Evan Silva, “Word circulated at the Senior Bowl” that McCloughan was “talking up” Baker Mayfield to #Browns GM Dorsey.

Mayfield was the only quarterback Browns general manager John Dorsey saw in person.

As the Browns own the first and fourth overall picks in this year’s draft and are clearly in need for the top quarterback prospect in this year’s draft, it will be interesting to see how this one plays out once April rolls around.
