New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowksi called 911 to report that his Foxborough home was burglarized while he was at Super Bowl LII. WBUR obtained and released the audio of that call. Here’s what they got:

“This isn’t an emergency,” Gronkowski said on the call, which was made just after 6 p.m. Monday. “This is just uh, Rob Gronkowski calling, and while I was gone, my whole house got robbed while on the Super Bowl trip, and I just got back.”

Indeed, Gronk’s home was broken into during his absence. Foxborough Police Chief William Baker said his department is conducting an investigation. Baker would not release information about what was taken. However, an audio recording of calls between officers and dispatch revealed that “multiple safes and possible guns” were taken, via WBUR.
