The Indianapolis Colts got some tough breaks Tuesday as Josh McDaniels backed out of an agreed deal to be their next head coach and now there are reports surrounding Andrew Luck’s shoulder again.

Despite him reportedly being close to throwing and the team not expecting him to need another surgery on his throwing shoulder, ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reported Sunday that there are “some doctors who have concerns about Andrew Luck’s shoulder,” per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

They reportedly also have concerns that he also may ultimately need additional surgery.

At this point, it is extremely difficult to gauge the situation surrounding Luck. One day he is ready to go and then another day he’s doomed and he needs another surgery.

Usually, these reports — while they may be accurate — should be taken with a grain of salt and not to heart until there is undeniable proof of what is going on.

It can be tough to wade through all of the reports but it seems there are some who still doubt Luck’s shoulder will be okay.
