New Draft Wire mock goes defense heavy for the Steelers

It is no secret that defense is where the Pittsburgh Steelers will spend a great deal of time and resources toward rebuilding the defensive side of the football. So it only makes sense that when it comes to the 2018 NFL Draft there will be multiple picks dedicated to the defensive side of the football.

The folks at Draft Wire understand this. In their latest four-round mock draft, they have the Steelers taking defense with all three picks.

In the first round, they have the Steelers taking Boise State linebacker Leighton Vander Esch. He’s become a hot name among first-round picks and his natural fit with the Steelers top draft need means he’s going to show up in a lot of Pittsburgh mock drafts.
