It’s only March and already Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan is back at work with one of his most crucial weapons.
According to a report by Vaughn McClure at ESPN, tight end Austin Hooper has gone through several throwing sessions with Ryan recently. Hooper says he wants to be available whenever his QB wants to throw.
It was just me and Matt. He’s starting to throw again, so I want to make sure I’m there as much as possible. Every time he wants to throw, I’m trying to make sure that I’m there. . . Whenever Matt wants to go out, I told him to just text me.
Hooper had an off Year 2 in the NFL, with several ugly drops in key moments overshadowing the bright spots on his highlight tape. If he can get back on track in 2018 and be as efficient as he was his rookie year, Atlanta’s offense will benefit a great deal.
