Jay Ajayi didn’t exactly leave the Dolphins on the best of terms. Before his trade to the Eagles on Oct. 31, Dolphins head coach Adam Gase questioned Ajayi’s willingness to pass protect.

Before winning his first Super Bowl with the Eagles on Sunday night, Ajayi hasn’t said much about the Dolphins, that is until Monday.

On an Instagram post, Ajayi took shots at the Dolphins, Gase and the South Florida media

“They may have tried to discredit you, discount you, throw dirt on your name…none of that matters,” Ajayi wrote. “LEGACIES LAST FOREVER. Funny how they were GASsED over journalistic…look at me now. ONLY GOD.🙏🏿 🏆 YURP 🔒.”

It appears Ajayi is upset at the South Florida media for detailing the reasons the Dolphins chose to move on from the former Pro Bowl running back. He has even blocked many of the journalists that cover the Dolphins.

After the Dolphins traded Ajayi to the Eagles for a fourth-round pick on Halloween, multiple reports, including from Dolphins Wire indicated the reasons for the trade including his knees and his attitude inside the locker room.
