In front of one of the best guards in UCLA basketball history, Bryce was cold as ice.
Bryce Alford's 3-pointer with 1.8 seconds remaining gave the Bruins an 87-84 win over No. 7 Arizona on Thursday night at Pauley Pavilion.
Alford took the shot about 10 feet away from Russell Westbrook, the Oklahoma City Thunder guard who played at UCLA from 2006-08. With his Thunder in town to play the Lakers on Friday, Westbrook took in Thursday's game as a spectator.
Alford's 3-pointer helped UCLA salvage the upset after blowing a 14-point second-half lead. The junior scored 15 of his game-high 25 points in the second half. The Wildcats (13-2, 1-1 Pac-12) had gone on a 10-0 run in the final two minutes of the game.
