It’s been a long time since Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan had a true talent at tight end to work with. Atlanta might be looking to change all that in this year’s upcoming NFL draft.
According to a report by Vaughn McClure at ESPN, the Falcons met with South Carolina tight end prospect Hayden Hurst while at the scouting combine in Indianapolis last night.
A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Hurst is listed at 6-foot-5 and 250 pounds. Over the last two years with the Gamecocks, he has caught a total of 92 passes for 1,175 yards and three touchdowns.
