One member of the No Fly Zone will return for the 2018 season. The Denver Broncos have exercised Chris Harris Jr.’s option for the upcoming season.

With all of the rumors regarding the No Fly Zone, it is nice to see that Chris Harris Jr. is going to be returning. There will be a secondary member from the Super Bowl season back. And it looks like it will not cost a lot of money.

In the first news in regards to retaining a Denver Broncos player, Mike Klis reports that “Strap Harris” will be returning for the 2018 season. His player option was exercised by the Broncos. According to Klis, the Broncos had from the end of their Super Bowl 50 victory until tomorrow to exercise the option.

Adding the option will also give Chris Harris Jr. a $7.4 million dollar salary and a $100,000 workout bonus. That totals to around $8.5 million. Not too bad for one of the best corners in the league today.

This is a great move for the Denver Broncos. It allows them to keep one half of their No Fly Zone tandem. This way, there would not be a complete rebuild of the secondary position. Harris Jr. wil now be under contract until after the 2019...
