Chiefs free agent focus: 4 defensive linemen are hitting open market

The Chiefs have an issue with their defensive linemen this offseason: four of them are hitting the open market.

Bennie Logan, Jarvis Jenkins and Stefan Charles are unrestricted free agents, while Rakeem Nunez-Roches is restricted.

With only six defensive linemen on the roster — and only two are starter-worthy — Kansas City will need to re-sign some of these guys. But who should be re-signed?

Logan played a lot of snaps as expected and started off strong against the run. He eventually fizzled out as the season progressed and wasn’t quite the force many were expecting. There were a few games when Logan was barely even used. That shouldn’t happen when a guy is being paid $8 million.

Nunez-Roches continued to show that he’s a great backup and rotational player. He can also start in a pinch and do a great job. Jenkins is a step below Nunez-Roches, coming in as a solid rotational/backup...
