Bucs pick up one-year option for 2018 for 3 players

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have picked up the 2018 option for safety Chris Conte, right tackle Demar Dotson and defensive back Josh Robinson. According to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, all three players were informed on Wednesday.

Conte finished his 2017 campaign with 61 tackles, zero fumbles, one interception and three forced fumbles in 14 games. In his three year career with Tampa Bay, Conte has racked up five interceptions, 173 tackles and five forced fumbles.

Despite missing the last five games of the year due to an injury, Demar Dotson will also be sticking around a while longer as well. Prior to sustaining the season-ending injury this past season, Dotson has a pretty solid performance besides the numerous penalties he unfortunately notched throughout the season.

The Bucs have also picked up the 2018 option for Josh Robinson. Throughout his career in the league, he has accumulated five interceptions, two forced fumbles and 134 tackles. Robinson is also a key contributor for the Bucs on special teams.

All three Buccaneers were poised to become unrestricted free agents on March 14 but the Bucs have now locked all three down for the 2018...
