Despite the fact that he could be a free agent on March 14, Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Allen Robinson isn’t stressing over a new contract but — instead getting healthy. On a recent episode of the Adam Schefter Podcast, Robinson was asked about how hectic the process has been, and to the surprise of many he told Schefter that it hasn’t been that bad. His agent, Roosevelt Barnes, is doing a bulk of the heavy lifting as far as contract discussions go.
“I try to keep myself in what I would call the eye of the storm,” Robinson told Schefter. “I know it’s a lot going on, but for me, I just try and keep things as simple as possible. I’m letting my agent handle most of the work. Me and him talk a lot. Especially this time of the year because you have to be on the same page. But my main focus right now is to do my rehab stuff and getting better every day.”
